Boot Warranty

Boot Warranty

Warranty Covering Boots purchased on or after 2/1/2025

We stand by the quality of our Boots and our mission is 100% satisfaction. Verillas has made boots since 2014 and we add new features and quality improvements based on your feedback to deliver the best balance of price, durability, and style.

The following list of issues qualify for a warranty claim:

1. Upon receiving your boots:

  • Missing or damaged hardware (metal parts including grommets, insole shank, lace hooks, studs, zippers* and other details made of metal)
  • Stitching errors or breaks that lead to a gap in the boot from the interior to the exterior that is not supposed to be there
  • Mismatched / incorrectly sized product
  • Missing Laces
  • Any other error in production that customer service makes an exception for.  (our goal is a happy customer, so if something else is wrong let us know. We may not owe a replacement or repair, but we do it anyway when we can verify we made a mistake. Our intention is a 100% satisfaction rate)

Exclusions that void section 1 of the warranty:   Boots that have been worn more than a few moments of trying them on indoors, boots that have been modified in any way whatsoever, boots that have been in an environment containing smoke (cigarette and other types), anything that would alter the smell of the boot, damage to the boot from handling, shipping damage (see shipping insurance for claims related to delivery), boots showing signs of being used, missing product tags or labels.

2. During the first 365 days (one year) after your date of purchase:

  • Stitching failures leading to separation between the boot sole and the leather boot “upper”
  • Metal hardware failures that occur from normal use*
  • Boots “falling apart” due to seam weakness not caused by overtightening your boots
  • Leather tearing due to a fault (excludes puncture, abrasion, or any damage caused while wearing that weakened the material catastrophically, whereas leather “creasing” and splitting before one year is covered. We recommend using leather lotion every 3-6 months to help prevent issues like this by caring for your boots.  They are intended to last for many years with proper care.)

Exclusions that void section 2 of the warranty:  Customer modifications to the product, damage from improper fit (boots that burst from being too small or overly tight, or wear out in a way that suggests they were too loose or worn without being properly laced), ruptures due to boots laced too tightly, hardware damage or any other damage related to overly tight laces, puncture, abrasions, damage outside the normal course of wear to the leather uppers, sole damage caused by abrasion against the ground while riding a motorcycle or other vehicle, boots with the insole removed or replaced, water damage (please treat your boots with a waterproofing spray if you intend to get them wet), sun damage, chemical spill damage.

* Zipper coverage on receipt strictly does not cover zipper-burst. Always zip your boots all the way up before lacing them, or you will risk bursting your zipper when you tighten your laces in one position, and expand your calf by walking and flexing it.  The zipper is not intended to withstand over-tensioned laces.  Always zip, then set your laces.

How to file a Warranty Claim

All warranty claims must be requested by email to info@verillas.com.  Include photos of the problem with your boots and an explanation of how they occurred and we will do our best to immediately make it right.

Our options to remedy include:

  1. Refund.
  2. Store credit (enough to order a replacement pair).
  3. Partial Refund, with the intention of repairing at a local cobbler if you have access to one.
  4. Sending replacement parts free of charge for those who wish to self-repair.

We strive to answer all emails in our inbox within 24 business hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4 PM year round except on major holidays.

Thank you for choosing Verillas. We hope your boots carry you from here to there and back again.  Verillas is a brand name you can trust.

Wouldn’t it be magical to get married in fantasy outfits?

To be wed in Renfaire Garb?  Imagine the wedding photos with a party of groomsmen, sword in hand, and a bridal party of faire maidens? Tavern wench brides maids? Or perhaps shield maidens come to rescue the men?

Whatever your vibe, whatever your medieval fantasy, we are ready to make your special day not only memorable, but legendary.  Imagine the framed photos. And wedding outfits that you might actually re-wear time and time again to your favorite Larp or Renaissance Festival.

What we do best:

Using our original designs, we offer custom color and a wide range of sizing to accommodate large parties of adventurers.  For the bride and groom, while we don’t do custom patterns (sorry we can’t take your Pinterest dream photo and copy it!), we DO offer some extra regal versions of our existing garb selection.

We can make your favorite Verillas styles in upgraded satin, damask patterned fabrics, leather, or rugged canvas in all too many possible color combinations.  We can provide consultation through our discord [link] or email: Info@verillas.com to make sure your garb arrives better than you hoped for and on time.  Please allow 4-6 months advance notice for custom order, whereas our standard color selection items ship next business day.  Just reach out with your idea and we will give you a quote!

Here are a few sample style concepts for a wedding based on things we already have patterns for:

Groom: A Mirage Long-Vest, matching patterned Landsknecht Pants, a medieval tunic, and Ares Knee High Leather Boots.  Add a belt based on our ever-rotating stock, a few leather pouches, and a circlet from one of our fellow vendors at the VA Renaissance Faire.

Bride: A Bramblewood Battledress re-imagined in all-white damask satin with a white satin lining and ivory leather trim.  A bright white Bramblecourt chemise – or a white renaissance tunic and matching Landskenecht pants.  Bright white Bramblewood Knee High Boots with Ivory Piping.

Groomsmen:  Bramblewood Long Vests in the colors of your choice.  Tradesman Pants, Sleeveless Renaissance Tunics, Ares Knee High Boots, and Belts to tie the looks together.

Bride’s Maids: Bramblewood Crop Vests and Tassets sets made in a softer color to compliment the bride.  Warrior Shorts in contrasting hand dyed colors with ivory sleeveless renaissance tunics, Ares Knee High Boots, and belts from our rotating stock.

We can even make something extra fierce to match for a ring bearer!

This is the perfect time to go all out, and we can promise a full kit of Verillas is a better investment than modern formal wear that you’ll only ever enjoy for about 5 hours.
